Two players from Angers Sco missed training this Wednesday, four days before the trip to Lyon in Ligue 1.
Two players from Angers Sco's first-team squad were not present during Wednesday's training session on October 28, four days before the Ligue 1 matchday 9 encounter against Lyon.
Striker Amine El Ouazzani is suffering from an adductor injury and will undergo a medical examination on Thursday. This injury raises questions about his participation in the match scheduled at the Groupama Stadium. The Angers medical staff are awaiting the results of this assessment to determine whether the player will be included in the squad traveling to the Rhone region.
Meanwhile, Bane Diatta also worked separately from the main squad during the same session. The winger completed an individualized training program, likely for recovery or specific preparation purposes. His condition will also be monitored closely in the coming days.
This double absence raises questions for the Angers coach just days before a difficult trip to Lyon. The team selection for this Ligue 1 match will now depend on medical updates in the coming hours.
