After a long absence, boxer Sandy Meunier resumes her career this weekend against an undefeated opponent in a French championship semi-final.
Sandy Meunier ends a period of inactivity of nearly four years by returning to the ring this Saturday. The athlete, originally from Herbouviil, is fighting a crucial match at the Savenay club, the facility where she chose to base herself to regain her momentum.
The stakes for this evening are high, as it is a key round for the professional French lightweight championship. The competition is governed by specific weight limits, set between 66 and 78 kilograms, which defines the strict framework of this professional showdown.
Meunier faces Fanny Galle, an opponent who presents a similar technical record in that she remains, for now, undefeated in her category. This clash between two boxers yet to record a defeat promises a highly tactical encounter of intense quality for the spectators.
The choice of Savenay marks a clear break from her previous competitive habits. It is in this new facility that she has built her comeback, transforming a simple local event into a pivotal moment in her professional career.
By stepping back into the ropes, the athlete confirms her determination to reclaim the elite national level after this interruption. This return to the elite of French boxing underscores her ambition to stabilize her position in the landscape of French professional boxing.
The quality of the matchup is guaranteed by the undefeated status of both competitors, which imposes strategic caution and heightened vigilance on the respective corners throughout the rounds.
