Caen TTC defeated Lille 3-1 on Tuesday to move top of the Pro B standings, with Stéphane Ouaiche delivering two key victories.
Caen TTC continues its flawless run in the Pro B championship. On Tuesday, 3 November 2026, the Norman side claimed a 3-1 victory over Lille, a result that propels them to the top of the standings. The match, played at home, showcased the depth and consistency of a team that has yet to drop a point this season.
At the heart of this success was Stéphane Ouaiche, who delivered an authoritative performance. He first overcame Andrej Gacina, then followed up with a win against Romain Brard, sealing two crucial points for his team. His solid display proved decisive in a contest where every match carried significant weight for the title race.
With this victory, Caen TTC now sits alone at the summit of Pro B, overtaking their rivals in the early stages of the campaign. The team's ability to perform under pressure, particularly in tight moments, has been a hallmark of their recent run. The win over Lille, a direct competitor, sends a clear signal to the rest of the division.
The Normans will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming fixtures. Maintaining their unbeaten record will require the same collective effort and individual brilliance shown against Lille. If Tuesday's performance is any indication, Caen TTC has the resources to stay at the top for some time.
