Two days before their trip to the Nouste Camp, the Nantes side confirms their difficulties and desperately seeks the keys to bounce back.
FC Nantes approaches their trip to Pau next Saturday in an uncomfortable position. Fifteenth in Ligue 2, the Canaries are struggling to find their rhythm and going through a difficult period that even the players openly acknowledge.
Fabien Centonze, returned to the starting lineup against Clermont at the end of October, recently confirmed the problems the team is going through. His remarks reveal a team seeking solutions at any cost to finally take off in the standings and in their play.
On the technical staff's side, it's time for analysis and adjustments. The recent Nantes performances haven't convinced, and the supporters are starting to grow impatient. The home game against Pau therefore represents a crucial match to try to reconnect with positive results.
The Pau side, on the other hand, are enjoying an attractive start to the season and occupy fifth place in the standings. This opposition therefore appears unbalanced on paper, but football often holds surprises. The Nantes side will need to show a completely different face to hope to earn points on the Pau pitch.
Pressure is building around the Nantes squad. Every match is now a decisive appointment to kickstart a positive momentum. The players know they can no longer afford to make mistakes and will need to raise their level of play to get out of this turbulence zone.
