Le Mans Rugby Club went down on Sunday 1 November 2026 on the pitch of USO Massif central, a Parisian club in Fédérale 3. The Sarthois conceded a 33-20 defeat, a reverse compounded by the loss of the defensive bonus in the final minutes of the encounter.
The Manceaux had nevertheless managed a large part of the match well, staying in touch with the Parisians. But USO Massif central made the difference at the end of the game, scoring the points that deprived the visitors of a defensive bonus they had long hoped for. This scenario leaves regrets within the Sarthois squad, who had hoped to leave the Paris region with at least a bonus point.
On the accounting front, this defeat slows the momentum of RC du Mans in their Fédérale 3 pool. The Sarthois will need to bounce back quickly in the coming fixtures so as not to let the leading teams get away. For their part, the Parisians confirm their current good form by winning in style.
In the standings, USO Massif central bank a precious victory that could allow them to climb places. Le Mans RC, for their part, will have to work on managing the end of matches, an area that cost them dear on Sunday. The Sarthois staff and players will now prepare to host their next opponent with the ambition of returning to winning ways.
