Mayenne amateur football is seeing its first squad and staff movements at the end of October. At Ancienne Château-Gontier, Jérôme Périgois has been appointed to lead the first team. He succeeds the former coach, whose departure has not been officially announced by the club. This arrival marks a new direction for the group competing in Regional 1.
Over at US Changé, a quality reinforcement has been added to the squad. Mathis Raimbault, a promising young player, has come to strengthen the team's ranks. His technical profile and versatility should provide additional options for the coaching staff. The management hopes this new signing will help the team climb the league standings.
Both teams will play at home this Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 6 PM. These matches will give supporters the chance to discover the new faces and assess the potential of their respective teams. For Château-Gontier, the challenge will be to get off to a good start under the guidance of their new coach. For Changé, it will be about confirming the positive momentum with Raimbault's contribution.
In this highly competitive regional championship, every point matters. Both Mayenne clubs will need to demonstrate solidity and cohesion to achieve positive results. The coming weeks will be crucial in evaluating the impact of these changes on team performance.
