Limoges Football beat FC Nueillaubiers 4-3 after a tense finish.
On Saturday 31 October 2026, Limoges Football returned to winning ways on home soil with a 4-3 victory over FC Nueillaubiers. A Régional 1 encounter that lived up to all its promises, with a spectacular storyline and an outcome that remained uncertain for a long time.
Three goals down, the Nueillaubrais seemed incapable of responding for most of the match. Yet, in the closing stages, they found the resources needed to reduce the deficit and worry the home side. But this late surge came too late to prevent Limoges from claiming the win, even if the final minutes were breathless.
In the end, the Limougeauds can savour an important success for their confidence, while the Nueillaubrais will no doubt regret their overly timid start. These three points allow Limoges to relaunch their campaign, while FC Nueillaubiers will need to work on their consistency to avoid such disappointments in the future.
