CN Brest swimmers repeat the feat and take all three medals in the 800m freestyle at the French Championships in Angers.
The French Elite Short Course Championships, held in Angers, once again smiled on CN Brest. On Saturday 31 October, swimmers Valentine Leclercq, Lou-Ann Gaudaire and Laura Gourgeon swept all three podium places in the women's 800m freestyle. A triple that echoes the one obtained on Thursday in the 1500m, confirming the brilliant form of the Brest delegation in distance events.
In a controlled final, the three representatives of the Finistère club dominated the proceedings, finishing ahead of their rivals with a comfortable margin. The times recorded testify to their careful preparation for this national competition, held in a 25-metre pool. The consistency of their performances over the long distances is impressive and puts CN Brest in the spotlight at these championships.
This new triple comes four days after the one obtained in the 1500m, where the same trio had already monopolised the medals. This repeat
